3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide our services — creating and managing your account, delivering course content, and tracking your progress and completion

4. FMCSA Training Provider Registry Reporting

- Pass or fail status
This data is transmitted to the FMCSA and becomes part of the federal TPR database. We cannot process requests to withhold, modify, or delete this data once it has been reported, as federal law requires us to maintain accurate training records.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers — We share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our website and delivering our services, including our payment processor (Stripe) and our website hosting provider (Bluehost). These vendors are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Federal Regulatory Reporting — As described in Section 4, we are required by federal law to report training data to the FMCSA.
Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Training Schools — If you select or are affiliated with a Behind-the-Wheel training school through our platform, we may share your relevant training information — including your name, course completion status, and training records — with that school. This sharing is done to coordinate your overall CDL training program and ensure your BTW provider has the information necessary to complete your training. You may contact us at any time to learn which school, if any, your information has been shared with.
Legal Requirements — We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, or investigate fraud.
Business Transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our website before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a period thereafter as required by law. Federal regulations under 49 CFR Part 380 require us to maintain training records for a minimum of three years. We will not delete training records that are subject to federal retention requirements even if you request account deletion.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information that is not subject to federal retention requirements within 30 days of your request, subject to our legal obligations.
